1:  Slice off the foam sheets to fit it into the bottom of a basket. Then use florist’s sticky clay to hold this foam in the bottom of the basket.

2: Then you must cover this foam with the reindeer moss. You may use hot glue to situate it in its proper place.

3:  Then you go on dividing the basket into six or eight equal parts.

4:  Decide upon how you will place the flowers in every part. Make sure you can distinguish them by their textures and colors.

5: Always go first will the tallest flowers, which will finally decide upon the height of all of the division of flowers.

6:  Then you can cut the stems to the length you desire.

7: Insert the stems into the foam at one corner of the section. Always maintain a row while keeping your flowers. You go on filling the flowers until tat section is full.

8: For the other parts or divisions, decide upon the length of the based upon the first type of flower’s height. Always ensure to cut the stems long enough to maintain the flower’s height  also you must leave one inch or more to place it in the foam.

9: Then, you have to create a border around the outside edge of the container using small-leaved and dried bushy dried greenery. Don’t forget to hide the length of the stems in each division.

1. Bunch of reeds, 1″ thick and 2′ long
2. String
3. Scissors
4. Long piece of ribbon.

 First of all get the reed from any craft stores or basket supply stores. Then fill the bucket with warm water and soak the reeds in the water. Leave it for about half an hour or until they are supple. You will do this in order to make the reeds flexible and easy to work with. After the reeds are soaked and supple remove them from the water and dry the surplus water. Use tissue paper or a soft piece of cloth to soak the water. , Now bend the reeds to form a circle by putting ends on top of another.

The number of overlapping of reeds will depend upon desired thickness. So, it’s all up to you to decide the thickness of the reeds wreath base. Then after, you will secure the reed with floral wire or a string. Tie the wreaths properly. Cut off the excess string. Now take a long piece of satin ribbon and wrap it loosely all around the wreath.  However make sure that some parts of the reeds are visible.

Now take a small bunches of hydrangea and cut it unto the length of about three inch. Either knit them on the wreath or stick them on with the ribbon using hot glue. After you finish up with hydrangea, continue with roses. Cut the stem of the roses unto the length f about three inches and weave it too on the wreath. Use floral tapes or wire or strings. Add some extra finishing touch by tying ribbons or bow and may be some fresh red berries. Here I used a large ribbon and folded it to make a bow. You are done!

Approx.60 fresh white roses ( you may use silk or freeze-dried roses too)

Approx. 20 fresh red roses

Two rectangular blocks of Styrofoam

 Strong glue

Sharp scissors

Instructions:

This wreath will be in the shape of a cross to honor the symbol of the Red Cross. The white roses shall be the base of the cross on which the red roses shall be placed.

1. The first thing that we shall do is to cut the Styrofoam into the shape of a cross. For this take one block and trim it into 12 inches.
2. Take the next one and trim it into 8 inches.
3. Soak the two blocks in water for a few minutes and take them out. Do not over soak as it will cause the arrangement to drip.
4. Cut the flower heads of all the roses and spritz water to keep them fresh.
5. Now place the smaller block on the longer one to form a cross.
6. Using floral pins attach the white roses on the cross to cover it completely.
7. Now, attach a single line of red roses on the cross in the same process. In case you are using silk roses, use hot glue to secure the roses.
8. you may add a big showy rose with few leaves at the intersection of the two blocks, to make the wreath look attractive.
