Dried Flowers - How to Make a Simple Dried Flower Centerpiece
Decorate your home for all seasons and occasions with a simple dried flower centerpiece.
Materials you will need:
Oblong basket or tray which must be 2” deep and 10”x 18” sized
Floral foam sheets
Serrated knife or mini saw
Reindeer moss
Hot glue,
Utility sheets
6-8 different kinds of dried flowers
Small- leaved dried greenery.
The steps, which you need to follow, are as follows:
1: Slice off the foam sheets to fit it into the bottom of a basket. Then use florist’s sticky clay to hold this foam in the bottom of the basket.
2: Then you must cover this foam with the reindeer moss. You may use hot glue to situate it in its proper place.
3: Then you go on dividing the basket into six or eight equal parts.
4: Decide upon how you will place the flowers in every part. Make sure you can distinguish them by their textures and colors.
5: Always go first will the tallest flowers, which will finally decide upon the height of all of the division of flowers.
6: Then you can cut the stems to the length you desire.
7: Insert the stems into the foam at one corner of the section. Always maintain a row while keeping your flowers. You go on filling the flowers until tat section is full.
8: For the other parts or divisions, decide upon the length of the based upon the first type of flower’s height. Always ensure to cut the stems long enough to maintain the flower’s height also you must leave one inch or more to place it in the foam.
9: Then, you have to create a border around the outside edge of the container using small-leaved and dried bushy dried greenery. Don’t forget to hide the length of the stems in each division.
